Fine Arts 

• Marching Band Camp, grades 7-12
  • For KCHS Students grades 7-12 joining Marching Band
  • Camp Dates: July 28th - August 8th (Monday-Friday, no weekends)
    • ​July 28th & 29th at 9:00a - 11:00a 
      
    • July 30th - August 8th at 9:00a - 11:00a AND 1:30p - 4:00p 
      
  • Lunch will be provided through the second week of band camp courtesy of the Music Boosters Club. Students are welcome to go home or stay at school through the break between rehearsals - either Ms. West or a parent will be at the school.
  • ​Exhibition will be held on August 8th at 5:30pm on the new field, parents are welcome to come watch! 
    
  • What to know about Marching Band participation:
    • ​When school begins, there will be morning rehearsals before 1st period at 7:00am-7:50am, the students will be let out in time for their first period of the day. There will be some weekend competitions to prepare for, more information coming later on this. The marching band will perform at football games and will participate in pep band for the entirety of the game, unless communicated otherwise. 
      
    • Marching Band has a $75 fee for uniform maintenance, shoes, hats, feathers, etc. 
      
    • Color Guard will pay an additional fee of $75 for their uniform/flags. 
      
    • Anyone using a school instrument pays a $75 per year rental fee, including percussionists.
