    • The general camp is for athletes entering 4th grade - 9th grade. Nebraska Cornhusker, Nebraska high school record holder and NCAA Division I All-American Karsyn Leeling will run a high jump-only session in the evening on Monday that is available for athletes of all ages, including high school.

  • CHI Health Care Career Camp
    • Grades 10-12
    • Camp Dates: June 2-3, 8:30a-4:30p
    • CHI Health hosts FREE Health Care Career Exploration Day-Camps! We are dedicated to providing hands-on learning experiences to help high school students (grades 10 – 12) gain a better understanding of the variety of health care careers. Please note, we will be highlighting many careers in health care, not just clinical positions.
    • Campers will engage in:
      Interactive learning experiences and hands-on activities.
      Tours of more than 13 different hospital departments.
      Sessions with a wide variety of health professionals sharing their experiences, industry knowledge, and career recommendations.​

  • Dawson Public Power - Utility Line Camp
    • Camp Date: May 21
    • Grades: 10-12

    • Requirements: Students must wear jeans and work boots.
      They will be provided all necessary safety equipment (hard hats, glasses, and gloves).
    • This half-day camp offers students a chance to move beyond the classroom and experience the utility industry firsthand. Participants will engage in several interactive stations, including:
      • Climbing Utility Poles: Learning the techniques and safety protocols for ascending poles.
      • Bucket Truck Rides: Seeing the world from a lineworker's perspective.
      • Safety & Tools: Getting up close with the specialized gear and technology used to keep our community powered.
      • Underground Installation: Exploring the methods used for below-ground utility work.
  • Cyber Security Camp (CCC)
    • Grades 9-12
    • Camp Dates: June 2-3, Hastings CCC Campus
    • Our Cybersecurity Camp drops you straight into the world of ethical hacking, digital defense, and hands-on tech skills used by professionals. Led by certified instructors in Cisco and CompTIA, you’ll learn how the internet actually works, explore networks, crack into command lines (Windows, PowerShell, and Linux), analyze traffic with tools like Wireshark and Nmap, and get an inside look at how hackers think and how defenders stop them.  The best part? You won’t just watch demos... you’ll build your own secure environment by installing Linux and firewall tools in VirtualBox, giving you a safe sandbox to experiment, break things, and learn by doing. If you like problem-solving, tech, gaming, or just want skills that lead to high-paying careers, this camp is your chance to step into cybersecurity and see if you’ve got what it takes.

    • Grades 9-12
    • Camp Dates: June 1, Hastings CCC Campus
    • Our Diesel Camps provide students with the opportunity to step into the boots of a Service Technician or Diesel Mechanic. Campers will collaboratively work through hands-on mechanical projects and solve real-world problems that regularly come across our service desks in creative project-based learning activities. Throughout the camp experience, they'll explore the ins and outs of working on equipment alongside our certified Diesel Technology instructors, industry experts, and current student technicians!
