Chromebooks for Education at KCHS

In an effort to provide 24-7 access to technology and learning, Kearney Catholic High School will issue students in grades 9-12 a chromebook and case.  The following guidelines pertain to the school-issued computing device, case and any personal electronic devices brought into the school and connected to the device.  These guidelines summarize student responsibilities under our district’s Acceptable Use Policy, regarding use of the school-issued computing device and case.

Chromebooks look like a laptop, and feel like a laptop but they are designed to get things done faster and easier. They run Chrome OS, an operating system that has multiple layers of security, cloud storage, and the most popular Google Apps built in.
